Penleigh Farm & Butchers

We have a butchers shop on Stony Street.  We will be open Tuesday to Saturday but with slightly reduced hours. 9am to 10am for the elderly, 10 to 3 for everyone else. We will be operating  a strict maximum of two customers in the shop at any one time and we expect people to respect this.

We will be aiming to carry on selling all our usual produce; beef, pork, lamb, chicken, sausages, bacon, ham, eggs and butter etc. Due to last weeks demand our supply chain has been under extreme pressure.  We will do our best to keep butchering but ask people to respect our opening hours as we do need time for preparation.

We are going to operate a delivery service for the elderly and self isolated.  I plan to run deliveries on Wednesdays after 3pm and Fridays after 3pm.

Please try to order through email and not through social media.  This will help me to eliminate missing orders as I won’t be checking  FB, Insta, Whattapp, carrier pigeon etc!

I will confirm your order and take payment over the phone, so please leave address and contact details in your email. Delivery will be on Wednesday and Friday afternoon and once we have found your house we will notify you by phone that we are about to deliver and will leave the goods on the door step.  All produce wherever possible will be vacuum packed to extend shelf life and labelled accordingly.

For deliveries in Frome there will be a £4.50 delivery charge and this will be incremental to out lying villages to a radius of 10 miles.  I can discuss this when we confirm your order.

This is new for us so please be understanding, i’m sure it will all become easier and more streamlined for all of us. Take care lovely Customers.
